Microhaus is the Hi-Tech Tiny Home of the Future
Haus.Me stepped into the future when creating their hi-tech tiny home the Microhaus. We talked about a different tiny home on the blog a few months back. Today it’s all about the sleek and modern design that’s portable and also sustainable.

One of the things about Microhaus that stands out to me is their choice of high-quality materials. They use natural wood and fabric throughout the home. It looks like you’re inside a yacht! Everything is designed in Europe and crafted in the USA.

Hi-Tech Tiny Home Sustainability
These homes are sustainable because they’re energy efficient and have low operating costs. Low operating costs are good for using this tiny home for rental income. Their website shows how to calculate what type of monthly income you can expect to generate. Think of it as your own mini Airbnb in your backyard.

You don’t have to worry about permits if you want to use this as an Airbnb. Microhaus claims that the homes are non-permittable structures. This means that in most places you won’t need a permit since the homes are under 150 square feet. You may still have other requirements in your area. Although, Microhaus can perform an analysis to check for local restrictions in your neighborhood.

There are two different versions. There’s a pro model and a light model. The pro model has water and power backup of up to 10 hours. The light model has a more simplified system for backup.

Hi-Tech Tiny Home Specs

It’s very different from a lot of the tiny homes that we’re seeing. I love the fact that the bed /lounge area is not in a loft. You don’t have to worry about hitting your head. I also like the storage areas. The closet behind the bed area is genius. All I can say is, Microhaus is amazing!

Very interesting. I do like the interior design. Are you able to use curtains?
Hi Rose,
Check out the website Microhaus for a lot more images. I believe there is one with a giant shade over the window.
