Pantone Color of the Year 2019
Pantone’s Color of the Year for 2019 is “Living Coral.” I’ve always been a fan of coral so I’m really excited to find new ways to incorporate the color into future design projects. This is the color that will inspire Interior Designers, Graphic Designers and Photographers alike in 2019. Let’s see how we can use it.
Interior Design
Don’t feel the need to paint all the walls in your house using this bright coral color. Think about adding pops of Pantone‘s Living Coral to your everyday space. Add a pop of coral by adding a new pillow to your couch.
Or think about switching out one of your lampshades to brighten up a room. It can be something as simple as adding a living coral-inspired bouquet of flowers to a space.
Graphic Design
When designing projects that do not require sticking to brand guidelines, add a little living coral to brighten up a design element. Choose an image with a hint of living coral.
Add a bold coral hue to the title of an article. Think about little touches where coral mirrors the message you are trying to get across.
Photography
Add an Adobe Photoshop preset to your landscape images to give them a hint of living coral. Play around with the settings in the curve tool until you get just the right shade of living coral.
